GIVING

Giving is an important part of our discipleship in Jesus Christ, both giving financially and giving of our time and skills - it enables us to develop the mission and ministry at Emmanuel for the work of God in Loughborough and beyond. Every donation that we receive is important and we value your help.

If you'd like to give financially to Emmanuel, please click on one of the tab titles below.

Set up a regular gift to the work of the church - don't forget to GiftAid!

"For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have." 2 Corinthians 8:12

Leaving a gift in your will

Here at Emmanuel, we welcome all gifts in wills, however large or small, and we promise to use your gift to make a difference in our parish. Since needs change over the years, we encourage you to leave a gift for the general purposes of the parish rather than for a restricted purpose. If you prefer you can ask us to discuss possible uses of your gift with your executors, bearing in mind the church’s priorities at the time. You can be confident that your gift will be used to make a real difference to our future mission and ministry. We will acknowledge gifts in whatever way you feel most appropriate. Equally, we can make sure that gifts remain anonymous if you prefer.

If you would like to talk to someone in confidence about the sorts of purposes your gift might fund, and how/if you would like your gift to be acknowledged, please contact our Norman Revell via the Church Office or by email to giving@emmanuel-loughborough.org  If you would like to make a gift to our church in memory of a loved one, please do come and discuss this with us too.

Writing Your Will

We are God’s stewards, entrusted to use His gifts for the good of our family and our church family. In thanksgiving we should also take will writing seriously – setting our affairs in order and stewarding them wisely. Making a will and updating it regularly is the only way to ensure your wishes are fulfilled, giving you peace of mind that you can continue to support the family, friends and causes that you love.

For more information about how to make or amend your will, visit www.churchofengland.org/our-faith/church-legacy These pages provide helpful information and include a FREE online will writing service.

We strongly advise you seek professional advice when writing or amending your will.  However. the only information you need to leave a gift is our name and Charity number, which is 'The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Emmanuel Loughborough, Charity Number 1132853'.
