EASYFUNDRAISING

Easy Fundraising partners with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice. It won't cost you any extra. The cost is covered by the brand.

It’s easy to use if you download the Donation Reminder - once you have an account set up on EasyFundraising, you will have the option to install their browser extension which called the Donation Reminder. It will pop up on every retailer site where a donation is available which means you don’t have to remember to come to the easyfundraising website first!

 

The first time you visit a retail site online the Donation Reminder pops up and if you say YES every time you order on the site you will trigger a donation, meaning you don’t have to go through the easyfundraising portal every time you shop online.

 

Most brands pay a % of what you spend with them as a donation, for example if you spend £150 on a hotel via booking.com, they will donate 3% which is £4.50. Some retailers pay a flat amount, for example is you buy car insurance with confused.com via easyfundraising, they will donate a flat £15 regardless of the cost of the policy.

HOW DO I START FUNDRAISISNG FOR EMMANUEL?

  1. Click on the link to visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk/support-a-good-cause/

  2. Type in 'Emmanuel Church Loughborough' and click search

  3. A list of causes with similar names will appear - click on the Emmanuel Church Loughborough title.

  4. Click the yellow button that says 'Sign up and support this cause'

  5. Choose ones of the options: Continue with Apple / Continue with Facebook / Continue with Email

  6. Once you've chosen an option and entered the appropriate details, click the button that says Add the Donation Reminder

  7. You will be redirected to your appropriate app store  - click on 'Add to Chrome' button (or whatever your browser name is)

  8. A pop-up box will appear - click on 'Add Extension'.

  9. In the top right corner of your browser, click on the jigsaw piece icon, then the pin icon.

  10. All done! Now you can shop online as normal, and make donations to Emmanuel as you go!
